The 3 rules in my classroom are - respect yourself, respect others, and always try your best.

 

   Students can show respect for themselves in many ways.  First, they should come to school prepared for their day.  All materials should be organized and assignments complete. Getting a good night's sleep is also a great way to show respect for themselves. 

 

   To show respect for others, they need to use kind words at all times.  If there is a problem with another student, the first thing to do is bring it to my attention so that I can help solve the issue.  Respecting others also means they support one another and encourage everyone to do their best.  We should all remember to  treat others the way you yourself want to be treated.

 

   Putting forth their best effort each day is essential.  Things at school may be hard, but we will be learning skills to help them succeed in the classroom!  Having a positive attitude will only enhance the things they will learn and what they can achieve!
